Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MaltaHub at maltahub.org, including all listings, messaging, CV tools, events, news and business directory features.

By creating an account, posting a listing, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using MaltaHub.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and post content on MaltaHub.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your name, phone number, permit details and any documents you upload.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, post fraudulent content, or harm other users.

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant MaltaHub a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, host and promote that content on the platform.

Listings for jobs, apartments, marketplace items, services, events and businesses must be accurate, lawful and genuinely available. Duplicate, misleading or expired listings may be removed.

Listings may require admin review before they appear publicly. We may approve, edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion.

You are solely responsible for your listings and for the agreements you enter into with other users.

Do not post illegal, fraudulent, discriminatory, hateful, sexually explicit or violent content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.

Do not post fake job offers, request payment for job applications, or ask for money before viewing an apartment.

Do not scrape, spam, reverse engineer, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the platform.

Do not impersonate another person or business, or misuse other users' personal data obtained through the platform.

MaltaHub is a listing and communication platform. We are not a party to any employment contract, rental agreement, sale, or service booking arranged between users.

We do not verify every listing, employer, landlord, seller or service provider. Always meet in safe public places, verify documents, and never send deposits to people you cannot verify.

Any payments, refunds and disputes are between the users involved. We may assist with moderation but we are not responsible for the outcome.

We may review reported content, messages and accounts to keep the platform safe.

We may issue warnings, remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts where we believe these Terms have been breached.

Where appropriate, we may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities in Malta.

MaltaHub is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that any listing will produce a job, tenant, buyer or client.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MaltaHub is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or damages arising from your use of the platform or from dealings with other users.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Maltese or EU law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta, and the courts of Malta have jurisdiction over any dispute.
